Wine, 13.1 miles, and Yoga!

Let me introduce to ASICS first ever, Vine Body Sole event! It’s a weekend FULL of vineyard fun for the ladies!

ASICS Vine Body Sole

This is a half marathon and training challenge in Napa Valley, Ca. It is going to be the getaways of all getaways. While it may sound like another race weekend, it definitely isn’t one of those. There will be wine, vineyards, yoga, running for all speeds, and perfect music for your workouts.

This is a race weekend like no other, while there is a 13.1 race involved, it’s more than that. its a weekend just for YOU. A weekend to become of sound mind and of sound body 😉

While I have never been there, the area does look peaceful and serene. Especially where all the events of the weekend will take place, want to take a look? Click here.

One of the things I like about this weekend is that you can invite all your girlfriends to come with you! You can turn the race into a fun team, 2-4 person relay or run the entire 13.1 race as individuals and all cross that finish line together. I have done 13.1 miles with my friends and let me tell you, they turned into the most memorable races I’ve ever had. I encourage you to invite your girls, you’ll have a great time, believe me.

That’s not it though. What’s included with your registration is just amazing! You know ASICS doesn’t disappoint.

-You can sign up for the 13.1 race through those ridiculously beautiful looking scenic routes, AND take part in the WANT IT MORE training activities set up for the weekend

-A pair of women’s ASICS shoes! The GEL-Kayano 22, GEL-Fit Sana 2, OR GEL-Cumulus 17 (Pick one)

-Yoga in the vineyard before the race

-ASICS women’s short sleeved tech shirt

-Finisher Medal

-Finish line festival with music and commemorative wine glass

  1. I’m not really much of a wine person but I do like the sweeter ones like Moscato and Riesling. Also the $3 wine at Trader Joe’s isn’t too bad!

  3. My favorite is Cabernet!!! My favorite and only shoes I run in are Gel Cumulus. I would love to win this race. (I’m a teacher in GA and never have been to Napa)

  4. A bottle of Reisling. Doesn’t have to be fancy … Relax is one of my favorites! Paired with some ASICS and a West Coast run sounds heavenly!
