Being a runner and someone who battles chronic pain every day, the tools that are needed to survive are useful for both worlds. I do look for the most functional, best effective ones. A while back I bought a scraper tool. A scraper tool can improve circulation, reduce swelling by breaking up the tissue in the area of concerns. I have several scraper tools and I usually combine them with a heating pad and stretching.
But then Ached Away came out with a mini HEATED scraper! I was so excited, so obviously I bought it and been using it since. With the hiking, running, and the seizures, this tool has reduced my pain and soreness significantly. I have posted about it several times on my Instagram. It’s small, heats up quickly, has several levels and the scraping part is effective. I carry it everywhere and perfect especially during traveling.

THEN, my already difficult life got a bit better. Ached Away saw one of my post and they gave me the opportunity to try out the Ached Away Cupper. This thing…..they call it a smart cupper. They were not lying!!
I do cupping therapy with the guidance of my massage therapist MassageProMed But at times it does get difficult and with a big ugghh, just thinking about it and sometimes already being in the condition I would be in, I would just end up not doing it. But cupping therapy is SUPER effective!!!
The difference with the Ached Away is that it uses smart technology, it’s app controlled and uses red light therapy.
-The smart cupper is set with rhythmic patterns of suction and release.
-It comes with an App to which you can control and customize the power, time, and up to 6 cuppers at a time.
-Red light therapy helps reduce pain and inflammation to speed up recovery time.

It comes with 3 different sized cups you can interchange and a rechargeable cable for when it needs charging. The cup itself has a light that will let you when it needs charging. The app is available to download in the Apple store or Google Play and it is pretty self explanatory. I have been using the Ached Away Cupper for a little bit now on a few areas of concern and it has a difference.
By making a difference I mean that the area I used it on I don’t always get great circulation there and get constant pain. So by getting rid of the toxins I was able to have no pain there for some time. I was able move the Cupper to down my leg once it finished it’s session. I would leave it for its set time of 12 minutes as it would just stop it’s pulsating massage if I didn’t change it’s time. I did try to do so and it was easy. But I felt that time was sufficient for what I needed it for. You can also set the red light therapy to on or off in the app.

This device is incredibly easy to use and very beneficial for the muscles. Another positive is that when I travel I will be able to just take it with me. With my chronic pains, they kind of flare up out of the blue and I always have to be prepared for whatever comes my way. I love that the Cupper is ready to go at the push of the button. It is pretty obvious that they took the time to put not only the advanced technology into their devices but they also took the time to put the users’ time, and ability to use them as well. This is something that someone like myself can take a lot of appreciation for because there are days I don’t have full use of my hands and having this technology readily available makes it easier for me to take care of my muscles.
