Every year, Shades for Migraine Day shines a light on a disease that affects millions of people worldwide yet is often misunderstood. On June 21st, people everywhere are encouraged to wear their favorite sunglasses and help raise awareness for migraine and headache disease.
Migraine is much more than “just a headache.” It is a complex neurological disease that can impact EVERY aspect of a person’s life….from work and school to family events, social gatherings, and everyday activities. Because migraine is often invisible, many people living with it fight in silence.

This year, I’m doing my part to spread awareness throughout the Orlando area by handing out SHADES FOR MIGRAINE and encouraging conversations about migraine disease. You’d be surprised what a pair of purple sunglasses could do. A pair of shades can start an important discussion, help educate others, and show support for the millions of people fighting this invisible battle every day.

If you see me around Orlando, don’t be surprised if I offer you a pair of shades! Together, we can help bring migraine disease out of the shadows and into the spotlight.

Every conversation matters, and every person wearing shades helps make a difference.
