The Diamond run

I haven’t brought you all a run in a while but here is a GOOD one and it involves DIAMONDS!

OpeM

I love this one because Diamonds are my birthstone! I’m an April baby and it makes me excited for this race for many reasons! I introduce you to The Endure Jewelry Diamond 10K, taking place on September 1, 2019.

This race will be benefiting ABLE ADVOCATES. Able Advocates is a 501c3 non-profit organization providing services and equipment to enhance the lives of children who have special needs as well as appropriate resources and support to parents and caregivers across the Central Valley. Since 2013 more than 2,000 children and their families have been provided services thanks to sponsors and donors like you! Services and equipment that was either denied by insurance or was a financial burden to families. Able Advocates’ Equipment Closet has raised over $400,000 worth of equipment and continues to grow with the Valley’s need. Donate today to help a child receive the necessary and helpful equipment they need to enhance their lives.

-You can run the actual race in Fresno, California at Woodward Park 7775 N Friant
Fresno, CA US 93720

-If you get a group of 12 together, you can register for the price of 10 with the “Diamond Dozen” team registration.

-Since the race will help create awareness, why not sign up and run as a wheelchair team?!?! You can register a rider + escort with their Able Advocates Wheelchair Duo Registration. Create a “Wheelchair Duo” team and make sure to assign (1) rider and (1) escort.

-And of course there is the virtual run option where you can run anywhere you please and you can still submit your time, tag them, and still get all of the swag!

To register, it is $89- note:Price increases after March 31, 2019 at 8:59pm PDT

What do you get when you register???

All finishers will receive:

-A genuine diamond necklace “finisher’s medal”

-Official race bib with chip time

-Lifestyle tank top

Knowing that the “finisher’s medal” is an actual diamond necklace, it might be my favorite medal I’ve ever received! And no I haven’t seen it yet! LOL This is definitely something completely different and sounds like fun.

And if you live or plan to be in Fresno for the race, you have MORE of a chance to get more swag at the Runner’s Ball After Party! Yes thats right, the party continues post race! There will be a many raffle prizes including a 1-carat diamond ring! YES! you read that correctly!

Let’s not forget why the Diamond 10K got started. It’s because Endure Jewelry is turning 10 years old! Sunny, the creator and talented eye behind it all, had been changing lives and making people smile not just with her infectious laugh, but with her jewelry.

I have a custom piece and several other pieces from her collections and each one has a deep personal meaning and as I’ve said before, she won’t know how much they mean to me. Especially now more than ever. To some it looks like just jewelry, but to others it’s a personal way to forever commemorate a dream, a goal, a moment. Thank you Endure Jewelry. And Happy birthday. Here’s to many more.

Love,

gelcys
